How much is your mulch?

Premium Hardwood - 2 cubic feet bags 1-24 bags $4.00 / 25 or more $3.75

Black Medallion - 2 cubic feet bags 1-24 bags $4.25 / 25 or more $4.00

Cypress Mulch - 2 cubic feet bags 1-24 bags $4.25 / 25 or more $4.00

Pine Nuggets - 2 cubic feet bags 1-24 bags $4.25 / 25 or more $4.00

Delivery is FREE for 10 bags or more (a $5.00 charge is added for less than 10 bags)



Where do you put the mulch?

We will deliver the mulch in neatly stacked (5-7 bags high) in the location of your choice on your driveway at the front of your home. Typically we place the stacks along the edge of your driveway to avoid blocking garage entry unless other instructions are provided. Feel free to use chalk to mark the desired location on your driveway or tape a sign for us on your garage door.

Due to time constraints, we unfortunately cannot deliver mulch to the side or back of your home; nor can we spread the mulch for you.



How late are you taking orders?

We will be accepting orders through Monday, April 18th 2011 - online orders will be accepted through 3:00 pm - any orders received after that will not be filled. As this has been very popular, we may have to cut off orders earlier than this date. Place your order early to guarantee delivery.



When will I receive my mulch?

Your order will be delivered on the weekend of April 29th, 30th, & May 1st.

Mulch delivery is a very long weekend for the Troop & The Football Team. Delivery starts either Friday afternoon or first thing Saturday morning on delivery weekend. We typically have all the orders delivered by Saturday evening. Sunday is kept as an extra day if we need it.

We cannot predict exactly when during the delivery weekend your mulch will arrive. We use a system that loads trucks with deliveries to homes in close proximity, but also attempts to reduce the number of undelivered bags left in the truck at the end of a run. Please do not be alarmed if your neighbor receives his mulch but we don't stop at your home - we'll be back on another run. We do not load the trucks such that all the homes on the same street will be in a single delivery run.



What happens to the proceeds from the sale?

Our annual mulch sale is the only Troop level fund raiser run by our Troop. Currently, proceeds from the sale are split between Boy Scout Troop 277 & The Reynoldsburg High School Football Team. Proceeds from our portion of the sale are the only source of funds to operate the Troop for the following year. Significant portions of the proceeds go towards replacement and refurbishment of our camping equipment. In addition a large percentage of the proceeds are set aside in "scout accounts". The boys in the troop use the funds in their scout accounts to offset portions of their costs to attend a week long summer camp or other scouting related costs such as equipment and uniform purchases.



Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to homes in Reynoldsburg and the immediate surrounding area.



What kind of mulch do you sell?

Our mulch comes from Mulch Manufacturing and is made right here in the Reynoldsburg area. We are selling four types this year, Premium Hardwood, Black Medallion, Pine Nuggets, and Cypress. We sell only 2 cubic foot bags.


How do I order?

There are THREE ways to order - see below

Ordering is easy - just fill out the online form and send it. You will receive an email confirmation of your order as well. The online form is just for placing orders, no financial information is collected.

If you would like to order by mail, locate the mail form (from the main menu) and print it out. Send the form with your payment to:

How do I pay for my mulch order? Can I use a credit card?

OPTION #1: If you would like to write a check or pay in cash, you can wait until delivery and provide us with payment then. If you would like to pay in advance, send your check, payable to: Boy Scout Troop 277 and mail it to:

OPTION #2: If you would like to pay by credit card, we are again allowing you to pay via Paypal. This will allow you to use your existing Paypal account or pay by credit card. This is the only option if you wish to pay with a credit card. We are charged a 3% fee + $0.30 cents for each transaction. This is added in to the total for anyone wishing to pay this way (You DO NOT have to have a Paypal account to use this service). Paypal is a secure way to pay for goods and services. You can pay via Paypal right after ordering!



Oops! I need more mulch than I ordered...can I order more?

If you have decided you need more than you previously ordered, and it is before the deadline for orders, just place another order using the online form - only order the additional amount - not the whole order. In the delivery details, leave us a note that this is an add-on order.



How do I cancel my order?

If you need to cancel an order, you MUST cancel before the deadline of April 18th 2011. After that date, the mulch will have already been ordered. To cancel an order, use the contact form to send us a message. Include your name so we can locate your order.
